Zygmunt Marcinski, C.A.
Zygmunt is an independent consultant providing Canadian and international tax advice to a number of privately-owned businesses, specializing in the structure of innovative tax minimization strategies. Zygmunt is also highly sought after for trade finance advice and to assist in the negotiation of credit facilities. He also has considerable experience with merchant banking advice concerning the establishment and funding of new business ventures. Zygmunt served as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the largest private provider of fiduciary services in the Channel Islands with 75 employees, 2500 corporations/trusts under administration, and annual fee revenues in the order of £7 million). Prior to his experience in the Channel Islands, Zygmunt was a partner with the Montreal office of Coopers & Lybrand, rendering general and corporate income tax advice, specializing in acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and joint ventures.
Howard Greenspoon, B.Comm., LL.B., B.C.L.
Howard is a founding partner of the law firm Greenspoon Perreault, and is a member of its Technology Practice. Howard has particular expertise in representing closely-held and public companies involved in a variety of industries, including high technology, biotechnology, telecommunications, and e-commerce and internet services companies. His transactional experience includes negotiating, structuring, and implementing strategic acquisitions and private equity transactions, representing both acquiring companies, targets and private equity sources, and private placements of equity and debt, representing both investors and issuers.
Benoit Briere
Since 1999, as the founding partner, Benoit has been managing Boomba Holdings Inc., a venture capital holding company that provides funding, governance, management support, and strategic consulting for early stage, growth or distressed companies. Boomba Holdings also manages an emerging real estate portfolio through it’s participation in Reacan Development Corp.
Benoit is very active in the community via his support, board or committee involvement for the Canadian Cancer Society, Quebec Breast Cancer, Fondation Charles Bruneau, Montreal Children’s Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital.
Arun Mehra
Arun is Vice President of Universal Paper Export Co. Ltd., a leading Canadian exporter of pulp and paper. Universal Paper is head-quartered in Montreal, Canada and has been successfully exporting pulp and paper products for over 35 years. Universal Paper is a past recipient of the Canada Export Award which is presented by the Prime Minister of Canada to companies demonstrating “Excellence in the Field of Export”. Arun joined Universal Paper in 1996 and has risen to a senior management position where he oversees sales in over 40 countries world-wide. Arun has in-depth knowledge of the Sales, Customer Service and Finance functions within the Company.Arun is also a past Director of the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit business organization whose objectives include the promotion of trade between Canada and India. Arun was very involved in establishing the Montreal Council of the ICCC and was a part of the team that raised over $100,000 over 5 years for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Allan Chamandy
Allan Chamandy has been President and CEO of St Lawrence Textiles Inc. since 1971. St Lawrence is a leading supplier of infants,children's, men's and ladies apparel to retailers in Canada, the United States and Japan.
In addition Allan sits on several advisory boards of various companies in Canada. He is also a past president of The Cedar's Cancer Institute of the MUHC and still very active in the Montreal community charities.
Lyanne Winikoff, B.Comm., LL.B., B.C.L.
