Main FundScrip Reward Dollars Rebate Cheques Main Which type of nonprofit can benefit from a FundScrip fundraising program? Every type of non-profit group will benefit from FundScrip, regardless of its mission or size. FundScrip serves non-profit groups across Canada, including schools, houses of worship, sports teams, clubs, community groups, etc. How else can supporters raise funds with FundScrip? Your supporters also generate earnings by shopping online with one of our participating online retailers. They simply login to FundScrip, click on a participating retailer and we automatically track their purchase and credit your account with their earnings. Does it cost anything to join FundScrip? No, FundScrip is a free service, for both your school or group and it’s free for your parents and supporters. How does FundScrip work? By purchasing gift-cards through FundScrip before they shop, and then spending them just as they would cash, your supporters earn cash rebates on their purchases. Their rebate is then evenly shared: half goes to your school or non-profit, and the other half goes to the supporters to offset their children’s educational related expenses. Once their FundScrip account reaches $100, it is eligible for transfer to them in the form of a cheque. This cheque is to offset their children’s education related expenses for anything they choose – tuition, school supplies, field trips or saving for post-secondary education. What is FundScrip? FundScrip is an innovative new program that allows your school or non-profit group to earn a percentage of your supporters’ everyday shopping. Supporters earn an average of 5% in cash rebates when they shop at their favorite stores. The cash rebates are then evenly split, with half going to your school or non-profit group while the other half goes your supporters, to offset their children’s education related expenses. Who are the FundScrip participating companies? FundScrip has assembled an impressive array of national and regional retailers. Click here to view the list. We are adding more local and national retailers all the time. Do I need any special software to join FundScrip? No, all you need to join and participate online with FundScrip is a computer with Internet access and a Web browser such as Internet Explorer. Do I need an e-mail address to join FundScrip? No. FundScrip offers all participating schools and non-profit group’s paper based and online ordering solutions. Is FundScrip a secure site? Yes. FundScrip takes the security of information very seriously and has established security standards and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to customer information. We use industry standard techniques such as physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, including data encryption and Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL) with the Entrust Secured Site Seal. We update and test our technology regularly to maintain and improve the protection of our customers' information. We restrict access to personal information to employees and service providers for legitimate business purposes to assist in providing services to you. How long does it take to receive FundScrip orders (gift cards/certificates)? Each participating organization decides on an Order Cut-Off day, which is the deadline for submitting an order for that week’s orders. A few days later, the gift cards/certificates are delivered to your school or non-profit group by courier. While placing their order, supporters can specify how they want the FundScrip gift cards/certificates distributed to them: held for pick-up, sent home with their child, or mailed to them. Click here to find out! FundScrip Reward Dollars When can members redeem FundScrip Reward Dollars? Members can redeem when their balance is as little as $5 - although many Members choose to accumulate FundScrip Reward Dollars for a special occasion. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery with your group's order. What can my members get with their FundScrip Reward Dollars? Your members can redeem for any of our over 150 gift cards at any time for any denomination. How do members redeem their FundScrip Reward Dollars? You can order gift cards through FundScrip for any of FundScrip's participating retailers. Rebate Cheques Rebate Cheques General Rebate cheques are issued to participating groups on a monthly basis, subject to a minimum balance due of $50.00. Cheques are issued on the 15th day of each month in respect to the amount of cumulative rebates earned through to the end of the previous calendar month. Rebate cheques are sent automatically, without the need for the group to issue an invoice, and each such rebate cheque comprises (i) the cumulative rebates earned through to the end of the previous calendar month and (ii) any applicable fees, taxes or surcharges (if any). |
