A Guide to Relaunching Your FundScrip Program
To help you with the relaunch process, we’ve put together a handy guide that walks you through the steps required to reach your fundraising goals.
Notify Your Existing Supporters
You might have already used the Group Broadcast tool in the FundScrip Program Manager, if so this part will be a breeze. Use the Group Broadcast to notify your supporters about your fundraising campaign relaunch.
Below is a guide on how to organize your plea for support. Use this guide to develop a message to be sent to existing supporters from the Group Broadcast tool.
Invite Supporters
Take advantage of the Invite Supporters tools in the FundScrip Program Manager by first logging in, then selecting the Community menu item, and finally selecting the Invite Supporters sub-menu item.
Share with Friends on Facebook
Invite supporters by sharing the invitation link on Facebook. When you click the Invite on Facebook button, you'll be asked to login to your Facebook account, at which point you can customize a message that will appear either on your timeline, on a friend's timeline, on a page that you manage, or in a private message to a friend.
Invite Supporters by Email Tool
Enter in the name and email address of each recipient you would like to send an invitation to, and when your invitation list is complete, click Send Email Invitations. The recipients will be sent an email asking them to support your group by clicking on the invitation link and signing up. You can keep track of which recipients have signed up by selecting the Track Invitations button.
Share Invitation Link or Code Manually
You may prefer to invite supporters using other communication methods. If that's the case, you can simply share the invitation code or invitation link (with code embedded). Supporters would then either click the link or visit www.fundscrip.com, click Support Your Group, and then enter the invitation code manually in order to support your group.
Don't be discouraged if not everyone signs up. Just like when you're organizing for a party, you can't expect 100% of the people you invite to come. Persistence is important when inviting supporters. Not everyone will sign up at first, but keep at it and they may change their mind over time.
Distribute Supporter Quick Start Guide
Another way to make it easy for supporters to sign up is by distributing the Quick Start Guide. Whether you're attaching the guide to an email, or printing it and handing it out, the Quick Start Guide will show supporters step by step how to sign up and support your group. Be sure to include your group's invitation code in the appropriate field in the PDF document before distributing it.

- Easiest way to pay for orders: it's like paying by cheque, but without the paper
- Free to use, no transaction fees and no monthly fees
- Private, safe, and secure
- To activate EFT, supporters must fax or email us a completed copy of the application form with a void cheque attached
- Online Bill Payment
- FREE
- Also known as Online Payee, add FundScrip as a payee in your bank account and pay for orders as you would pay for any other bill. For full details visit the Online Bill Payment page.
