Barrie Trojan Swim Club Raises Over $20,000

This has been the most successful year ever for the Barrie Trojan Swim Club. They are breaking numerous club records and currently have 5 swimmers qualified for the upcoming Canadian Olympic trials. The club has raised over $20,000 in 5 years with FundScrip!

Their mission is to enable all swimmers to achieve swimming excellence, success in competitive swimming and personal development though focused leadership, excellent coaching, engaged parents and committed swimmers.

The club has a strong support system of coaches and volunteer parents who work year round on ways to help lower the burden on their swimmer’s families. The majority of the funds raised are used to cover expenses such as pool time, lifeguard rates, coaching, equipment, and travel costs.

Here is what FundScrip Group Administrator Marsha Eley had to say about her experience.

“Hi my name is Marsha and I have been the Group Administrator for this fundraiser for 2 years and have actively been participating in it for 4 years. It is a super easy fundraiser to both use and co-ordinate. The people at FundScrip have been amazing to work with. They have always helped to resolve problems in a timely manner and have come up with helpful suggestions to make our fundraiser a success. The Barrie Trojans have been participating in FundScrip for 5 years and have raised just over $20,000 and we look forward to raising even more money in the years to come.”.

Good luck to those qualified swimmers!
