4 Steps to Get New Supporters for Your Fundraising Campaign

Raising funds can be difficult. Not knowing where to start, where to go, or even how to get donations. It's easy to feel confused and to give up. Good thing FundScrip is easy to use and to make it even easier to start, we're presenting 4 simple steps to get new supporters.

1. Make a Fundraising Plan

Who or what are you raising for, what is the cause of the campaign? Is there a specific end date, or is it a continuous fundraiser? Who are your potential supporters? The fundraising goals need to be set and clear to convince people to support your cause.

2. Use the Campaign Page Tools

FundScrip offers tools to make it easier to spread the word when it comes to your campaign. When you log in your account, you'll see a Campaigns page with an Invite button if you're an administrator and a Share button if you're a supporter. Use it to share your campaign link on Facebook and Twitter, and by email. This way, you'll make it easier for potential supporters to convert to actual supporters, as they can find your campaign with just one click!

3. Use Paper Order Forms

On the same Campaigns page, using the same button, you can download paper order forms. It's a great way to boost donations. Your potential and actual supporters don't need to create an account, they can simply use the form to pick their gift cards from a list of over 240 retailers. Download the forms, print them and hand them out! Collect back the filled forms and the money, and place the group order. Using paper order forms can make it easier for you to manage orders by keeping track of who ordered and what they've ordered. Also, you could be eligible for free shipping if the group order is large enough.

4. Communicate Regularly

Your supporters will feel more involved if you regularly give campaign updates. Let them know how the campaign is progressing to keep them motivated. Also, meeting your supporters in person will make them use FundScrip in a more consistent way. Remind them to order and support your group!
