122nd Marie-Reine-De-La-Paix Scout Group Raises over $11,800 with FundScrip

The 122nd Marie-Reine-de-la-Paix Scout Group has raised over $11,800. Marthe Corriveau, group administrator, gives more details about the group and their experience using FundScrip:

The 122nd Marie-Reine-de-la-Paix Scout Group, of the Scout District of Metropolitan Montreal, has nearly 160 youths, volunteers and managers as well as parents of all these young people.
The Scout Movement is a voluntary nonprofit organization whose mission is the dynamic education of girls and boys aged between 7 to 21 years old. Scouting allows them to create and experience great projects and challenges that promote leadership development and community involvement based on games, teams and nature.
The approach proposed by FundScrip allows parents to finance their children's activities without having to pay extra money. Indeed, the purchased $50 gift card by the parent is valid for a $50 of purchases. It is an amazing fundraiser for any non-profit organization as it allows the organization to raise money without asking additional efforts from parents, other than registering on the website and ordering their cards. After all, everyone has to pay for their groceries and put gas in their car. Why not do it while supporting the non-profit organization of their own child!!
FundScrip is reliable. Throughout all these years, we haven't experienced probems with the cards delivery, their use or purchase through the company's website. Payment methods are varied, allowing parents to use the one that suits them best. And the introduction of electronic cards gives them even more flexibility in their purchases.
The 122nd Scout Group appreciates this fundraising program and intends to use it for many years to come.
