FundScrip has raised over $132,000 for local schools Program supports educational programs and activities
Kincardine public schools have been getting creative with their fundraising initiatives. By selling gift cards for local businesses they have been generating funds for education and extracurricular activities for six years.
Kincardine District Secondary School's current initiative kicked off in February and has already raised $85. The schools receive back between 3-10% of the gift card amount, depending on the business involved. My Wraps, New Orleans, Sobeys, Subway, Tim Hortons and McDonald's are participating.
Forget raffle tickets. Fundraising gift cards are a good way to raise money for schools and sports teams
Clara Goodwin was tired of asking the same friends and family members to buy a candy bar or raffle ticket for her son’s hockey team.
Like most parents of school-age children, Goodwin found herself lugging boxes of chocolates to work, cajoling friends and family to buy tickets for casino trips or magazine subscriptions. Once she was almost roped into selling fresh chickens as a means to fundraise.
We recently started offering a new type of card: Fuel Savings Card. Since we've launched this new product, there has been some confusion about what it is, and how it works. Therefore, we've decided to take the time to explain their great purpose to you.
